If you want to grow in your relationship with Jesus, you need to have intentional relationships with people who have the same goal.  theStone's Small Groups are a GREAT place for that.
We want to be sure you have ways to engage and connect with your small group! Check out the RightNow Media Page for online studies you can do, and let us know if we can help you connect virtually! Contact Scott Litterer, our Small Groups Coordinator for more information!

What are small groups?
Groups of people who meet together to connect with each other and support each other physically, spiritually and emotionally.  Members are able to create close connections and add value to each other's lives through spiritual growth and support.  Groups typically range from 5-12 people.  Some groups are built on similarities (singles, couples, couples with children, men, etc.), while others form because of existing friendships and a desire to support and connect with others.

What to expect
Groups are encouraged to do life together, supporting each other in times of need and celebrating in times of success.  Groups typically follow an Acts 2:42 philosophy, which means they eat, pray and learn together on a regular basis.  Groups are also encouraged to help people know the love of Christ by reaching out to people in their communities through service or by inviting others into the small group experience.

When do small groups meet?
Groups have the autonomy to set their own meeting times and dates, but groups typically meet for at least an hour, several times per month.  Most groups meet in individual homes, but the church is also available.  Many also grow closer by doing social events together (concerts, movies, cookouts, etc...) and/or community service.

Who can become a member?
Anyone who would like to connect with others to share or receive the love of Christ can join a group.  While some groups consist of theStone church members, others include people who attend other churches or who do not currently attend church.
