Crown of Thorns

A Crown of Thorns is a vivid portrayal of the last hours of Christ’s life before His sacrificial death and His triumphant Resurrection. This Biblical account begins at the Last Supper and proceeds on to Jesus’ arrest, trial, flogging, burial, and ends with the joyful celebration of His Resurrection.
The event is open to all ages at no cost. The script has been completely rewritten, so the entire experience is performed in the auditorium, which means you can stay seated throughout the entire program as the actors, narrators, musicians, and dancers perform in front of and around you.
VIEWER ADVISORY AND PARENTAL GUIDE: For young and sensitive viewers, please be aware that a guard’s ear is cut off during a struggle, insults are shouted at Jesus, the flogging occurs on the center stage closest to the center audience seating, Jesus will be on the cross, and fake blood is visible on Jesus during the flogging and on the cross. Ushers can suggest more suitable seating locations to sensitive viewers.
