Tara Thomas

Tara Thomas is a former television news anchor (from 2002-2013 at KWWL-TV in Waterloo) who became a Christian at 28-years-old.  Since then, God has led her through two career changes and to pursue a calling to share her faith as a professional speaker.  She helps Christians embrace their faith as an asset, not a liability.

Women face a unique set of challenges as we navigate life as wives, sisters, daughters and moms in both our personal and professional circles.  The one guarantee is challenges will come our way.  Whether we use these seasons for good or hold on to them as a constant source of pain is a choice.  Tara Thomas shares why all of our setbacks have silver linings, if we look to our faith as a guide.

Join us as Tara presents, “Purpose-Driven Women: Making Sense of Life’s Ups and Downs.”  The doors will open at 9:30am, and Tara will take the stage at 10:00am.  Light refreshments will be served.
