Who Determines Your Time?

Key Point: Does man (people) determine your time or does Jesus Christ determine
your time?

(John 7:1-9)

I. Jesus Looked to the Father: His Will- (v. 7:1)
A. Jesus looked to His Father for provisions. (v. 7:1a.)
B. Jesus looked to His Father for protection. (v. 7:1b.)
C. Jesus looked to His Father for power. (v. 7:1c.)

II. Jesus Listened to the Father: His Word- (v. 7:2-5)
A. He trusted the Father’s plan. (v. 7:2-3)
B. He spoke the truth He heard from the Father. (v. 7:4)
C. His obedience to the Father testified to their relationship. (v. 7: 5)

III. Jesus Loved the Father: His Way – (v. 7:6-9)
A. Jesus waited to glorify God. (v. 7:6)
B. Jesus wanted to glorify God. (v. 7:7)
C. Jesus worshiped God not the glory of man. (v. 7:8-9)
