Why theForge?

At theForge, our mission is to shape faith in the students that can stand against the enemy and worldly opposition. As a forge purifies and transforms, we are building on the bliblical foundation that has been laid and chipping away at the false truths the world has laid on the students.

So that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 PETER 1:7

At theForge, our mission is to help students KNOW and GROW in the love of Christ. Whether a student has never heard the name Jesus, or they came to faith when they were seven years old, our goal is to introduce Christ into their young lives and then to nurture them as they grow stronger in defending their faith.

Wednesday evenings are our KNOW time; these get-togethers are more laid-back and geared toward invitation. A wide variety of students from all different churches are welcome to come to youth group, giving students a safe place to come and have fun while learning about the Savior Jesus. For those friends who get invited that don't know much about God or church, we make sure they feel included from the first night. We are here to help and not discourage.

Sunday mornings are our GROW time; meeting during second service is a time to dive deeper into the Word and fellowship with one another, and students learn how to comprehend and study the Bible on their own. We realize we won't always be there with them, but, if we can equip them with effective Bible study tools, we know they will be more prepared for this world.

Our vision is to transform our communities for Christ one student at a time through truth and love. We know communities are a better place to live when people have The Holy Spirit living in them. When these students go into the community, we want them surrounded by Christians who love God and one another. The more Christians a community has, the more it will thrive Spiritually, and because theStone Church is a part of this community, we have a responsibility to add to its culture.

Please help us lead this next generation to Christ by encouraging teens to come to youth group and support the biblical values we have put in place to strengthen these amazing young adults. We meet on Sundays at 10:30AM, during second service, and Wednesdays at 6:30PM for Youth Group!
