At theStone we believe baptism is the biblical practice of professing your faith in Jesus as both Lord and Savior.
Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God. He was born miraculously to a virgin, lived a life free of sin, was found guilty but had committed no crime; He was beaten and crucified. He died, was buried, and then resurrected from the dead. He took our place on the cross, so our sins would be forgiven. Jesus is alive and is seated at the right hand of the Father. This is the Good News of Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior. If you believe this to be true, we encourage you to take the next step of baptism.
We practice full-immersion baptism at theStone. Being baptized is an announcement that you are a believer in Jesus and expect to be held accountable to biblical truths and walk in His light, His love, and His purpose. To learn more about baptisms at theStone, please click on the link below.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to keep all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
