THE BODY THAT FEELS AGAIN
When Paul said, “You are the body of Christ,” he wasn’t describing a religious organization — he was announcing a living organism, pulsing with divine life. Every ligament, every member, every voice is meant to move in sync with the heart of Jesus.
But sin dulls the nerves. Pride stiffens the joints. Comparison fractures the bones of unity. The Holy Spirit is our spiritual proprioception — awakening awareness of where we stand in Christ and how we move in His grace.
When the Church loses that awareness, we start performing instead of embodying, pretending instead of loving.
But when we fix our eyes on Jesus — the true Head — He restores rhythm to the Body and love becomes the pulse again.
Faith is not built on emotion — it’s anchored in revelation.
And that revelation is not a new word from heaven or a mystical thrill.
It is a Person — Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh (John 1:14).
He is the final and full revelation of God (Hebrews 1:1–3).
To seek new revelations beyond Him is to say the Cross was insufficient.
The Holy Spirit does not come to give us new truth — He comes to remind us of the Truth (John 14:26).
When Christ is our focus, not our feelings, we find balance again.
When truth anchors our heart, love governs our steps.
When we know Jesus Christ, we don’t have to chase what’s already ours.
Reflect:
What areas of your life have gone numb to Christ’s presence?
Have you ever chased emotional highs more than the revealed truth of Jesus?
How can your heart regain its “balance” by fixing your eyes on the revelation of Christ?
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, awaken me again to You, my Lord and my Revelation.
Quiet the noise of emotion and hype; anchor me in truth and love.
Set me free from the lies of bad doctrine so I'm — alive to Your Word, alive in Your grace, alive in You. Amen.
